Air Fryer Honey Glazed Chicken is a quick, healthy meal that combines the sweetness of honey with the savory taste of garlic, creating a gourmet-style dish perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
1 lb Chicken Thighs or Breasts
1/3 cup Raw Honey
2 tbsp Coconut Aminos or Low-Sodium Tamari
1 tbsp Avocado Oil
3 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1 tsp Fresh Ginger, grated
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds, for garnish
2 Green Onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by patting dry and cutting into bite-sized pieces if desired
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, coconut aminos, avocado oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth
- (Optional) Marinate the chicken in half of the glaze for 15 to 20 minutes
- Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket
- Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for about 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through
- Brush the remaining glaze onto the chicken during the last 2 minutes of cooking
- Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes, then garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving
Notes
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for the best crispiness.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Preheat the air fryer for 3 to 5 minutes before adding the chicken.
