Description

Air Fryer Honey Glazed Chicken is a quick, healthy meal that combines the sweetness of honey with the savory taste of garlic, creating a gourmet-style dish perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

1 lb Chicken Thighs or Breasts
1/3 cup Raw Honey
2 tbsp Coconut Aminos or Low-Sodium Tamari
1 tbsp Avocado Oil
3 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1 tsp Fresh Ginger, grated
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds, for garnish
2 Green Onions, sliced for garnish


Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by patting dry and cutting into bite-sized pieces if desired
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, coconut aminos, avocado oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth
  3. (Optional) Marinate the chicken in half of the glaze for 15 to 20 minutes
  4. Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket
  5. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for about 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through
  6. Brush the remaining glaze onto the chicken during the last 2 minutes of cooking
  7. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes, then garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for the best crispiness.

Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Preheat the air fryer for 3 to 5 minutes before adding the chicken.
