1.5 pounds Chicken Breast or Thighs
1/4 cup Arrowroot Powder
2 tablespoons Avocado Oil
1 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
1 to 2 tablespoons Freshly Cracked Black Peppercorns
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Sliced Spring Onions (scallions)
Red Chilies


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken pieces completely dry with a paper towel
  2. In a large glass bowl, whisk together arrowroot powder, garlic powder, and half of the salt and pepper
  3. Add chicken pieces to the bowl and toss until evenly coated
  4. Drizzle avocado oil over the chicken and toss agai
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket
  6. Cook chicken for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through
  7. While cooking, lightly sear sliced chilies and scallions in a small pan with avocado oil for about 2 minutes
  8. After chicken is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and add sautéed aromatics and remaining salt and pepper. Toss gently and serve immediately

Notes

Ensure the chicken is dry for a crispy coating.

Use freshly cracked pepper for maximum flavor.

Check internal temperature to 165°F (74°C) for juiciness.
