Description

Apple Nachos with Nut Butter is a crisp, wholesome snack that combines fresh apple slices with nut butter and various toppings, offering a delightful texture and nutritional benefits.

Ingredients

Scale

2 Large Fresh Apples
1/4 Cup Nut Butter
1 Tablespoon Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
1 Tablespoon Cacao Nibs
1 Teaspoon Hemp Hearts
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamo
1 Tablespoon Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples thoroughly under cold water and slice them into thin, even wedges
  2. Toss the apple slices in a bowl with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to prevent browning
  3. Fan the apple slices out on a large platter, overlapping them slightly
  4. Warm the nut butter if it's too thick, then drizzle it across the apples
  5. Follow with a stream of honey or maple syrup, then sprinkle cacao nibs, hemp hearts, and coconut flakes over the platter
  6. Dust lightly with cinnamon and serve immediately

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh to maintain texture, store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to four hours.
