Ingredients
1 large head Cauliflower
1 cup Almond Flour or Chickpea Flour
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
2 tablespoons Avocado Oil
1/2 cup Hot Sauce
1 tablespoon Honey or Maple Syrup (optional)
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Wash and dry the cauliflower head, cut into bite-sized florets
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, then mix in water or almond milk to form a batter
- Coat cauliflower florets in the batter, place them on the baking sheet
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, or air fry for 12-15 minutes
- In a bowl, whisk together hot sauce, melted avocado oil, and honey/maple syrup
- Toss roasted cauliflower in the buffalo glaze and return to the oven for 8-10 minutes
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving
Notes
For extra crispiness, use the air fryer or add cornstarch to the flour mixture.
Store leftovers in an airtight glass container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
