Description

Buffalo Sweet Potato Bites combine the natural sweetness of roasted yams with the sharp acidity of buffalo sauce, resulting in a flavor-packed appetizer that's crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside.

Ingredients

Scale

3 Large Sweet Potatoes
2 Tablespoons Avocado Oil
1/3 Cup Buffalo Sauce
1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
Sea Salt To Taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Cut your sweet potatoes into uniform 1/2-inch cubes
  3. In a large mixing bowl, toss the potato cubes with avocado oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and sea salt. Spread them in a single layer on the baking sheet
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through
  5. While the potatoes roast, whisk together the buffalo sauce and maple syrup in a small bowl
  6. Remove the potatoes from the oven, transfer them back to the mixing bowl, pour the buffalo mixture over them, and toss gently to coat
  7. Return the coated Buffalo Sweet Potato Bites to the oven for another 5 minutes

Notes

For added flavor, consider topping with blue cheese crumbles or adjusting the buffalo sauce to your preferred heat level.
