1 tbsp Lime Zest
1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro
3 cloves Garlic
1 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Cumi
1 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, combine Olive Oil, lime juice, lime zest, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, honey, cumin, salt, and pepper. Whisk until combined
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add chicken to the marinade ensuring it's coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes
  3. Heat the Surface: Place a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and wait until hot
  4. Sear the Chicken: Add chicken to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F
  5. Rest the Meat: Transfer chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes
  6. Garnish and Serve: Top with extra cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice before serving

Notes

Pat chicken dry before marinating for better sear.

Do not over-marinate chicken in lime juice to avoid mushy texture.
