Ingredients
2 lbs Organic Chicken Breasts
1 cup Full-Fat Greek Yogurt or Cashew Cream
8 oz Grass-Fed Cream Cheese
2 tbsp Avocado Oil
1 tbsp Dried Dill Weed
1 tbsp Dried Chives
2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Onion Powder
Sea Salt & Black Pepper To taste
1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat Avocado Oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear the chicken for 3 minutes per side until golde
- Place the seared chicken in the crockpot. In a bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, softened cream cheese, dill, chives, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth
- Pour the creamy herb mixture over the chicken, ensuring it's fully covered
- Cover and slow cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the pot and stir it into the sauce
- Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary, then fold in the fresh parsley before serving
Notes
Searing the chicken adds foundational flavor.
Use room-temperature cream cheese for better emulsification.
Check chicken internal temperature does not exceed 165°F.
