Ingredients
2 lbs Chicken Breasts or Thighs
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
6–8 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1/2 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 cup Chicken Bone Broth
1 tbsp Honey (optional)
1 tsp Dried Oregano
1 tsp Dried Thyme
Sea Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and dried herbs
- Whisk together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, broth, and honey in a bowl
- Place chicken in slow cooker and pour the marinade over it
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours
- Once cooked, shred or slice chicken and serve
Notes
For a thicker sauce, reduce the cooking liquid in a saucepan after cooking.
