Instructions

  1. In a large glass bowl, combine the warm water, raw honey, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes until frothy
  2. Add the extra virgin olive oil and sea salt to the yeast mixture. Gradually stir in the flour, one cup at a time, until a shaggy dough forms
  3. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and elastic
  4. Lightly coat a bowl with olive oil, place the dough inside, and cover it with a warm, damp cloth. Let it rise for 30 to 45 minutes until doubled in size

  6. Place the shaped dough on parchment paper and allow it to rest for another 15 to 20 minutes, optionally scoring the top
  7. Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and bake the loaf for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and hollow sounding
