This vibrant Green Apple Smoothie delivers a refreshing, tart flavor balanced with a creamy finish, making it a nutrient-packed energy booster.

2 Medium Granny Smith Apples (Cored)
1 Large Handful Fresh Baby Spinach
1 cup Unsweetened Almond or Coconut Milk
1 tablespoon Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
1/2 Inch Knob Fresh Ginger
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
1/2 cup Ice Cubes


Instructions

  1. Wash the Granny Smith apples and slice them into quarters, removing the core
  2. Place the fresh baby spinach at the bottom of the blender
  3. Peel the fresh ginger and add it along with the lemon juice to the blender
  4. Drizzle the honey or maple syrup over the ingredients, followed by the almond or coconut milk
  5. Add the ice cubes last to keep the blades cool
  6. Blend starting on low and gradually increase to high for at least 60 seconds until smooth
  7. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, substitute liquid milk with Greek yogurt.

Using frozen apple slices instead of ice can enhance the flavor without dilution.
