Description

Healthy Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken Thighs are a delicious balance of rich chicken and zesty lemon and garlic flavors, creating a comforting dish perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

1.52 lbs Chicken Thighs
2 tbsp Avocado Oil
3 tbsp Grass-Fed Butter
5 cloves Fresh Garlic
1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Lemon Zest
1/3 cup Chicken Bone Broth
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley
Sea Salt & Black Pepper to taste
1 tsp Dried Oregano


Instructions

  1. Start by patting the chicken thighs completely dry with paper towels and season both sides with sea salt, black pepper, and dried oregano
  2. Heat the Avocado Oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 6 to 8 minutes until golden, then flip and cook for another 4 minutes before removing them
  3. Lower the heat to medium and add the Grass-Fed Butter. Once melted, add the minced Garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant
  4. Pour in the Chicken Bone Broth, Fresh Lemon Juice, and Lemon Zest. Scrape up browned bits and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until reduced slightly
  5. Place the chicken thighs back in the skillet, ensuring the skin remains above the sauce. Simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C)
  6. Garnish with Fresh Parsley, spoon the sauce over the chicken, and serve immediately

Notes

Use fresh garlic for better flavor.
