Description

Lemon Herb Grilled Salmon with fresh herbs and citrus creates a refreshing flavor profile that is both nutritious and delicious, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

4 6-ounce Salmon Fillets
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest
3 Cloves Garlic
1 Teaspoon Honey
2 Tablespoons Fresh Dill
2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley
1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a small glass bowl, whisk together the Olive Oil, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and Honey. Stir in the chopped dill and parsley until well combined
  2. Marinate the Salmon: Place your salmon fillets in a dish or a reusable silicone bag. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Let it sit at room temperature for about 15 to 20 minutes
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking
  4. Grill the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down first. Close the lid and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for another 3 to 4 minutes
  5. Check for Doneness: The salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F
  6. Rest and Serve: Transfer the salmon to a warm platter, let it rest for 5 minutes, and then garnish with extra herbs and lemon wedges before serving

Notes

Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel before adding the marinade for better adherence.

Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking. Salmon can dry out quickly.
