Description
Lemon Herb Grilled Salmon with fresh herbs and citrus creates a refreshing flavor profile that is both nutritious and delicious, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
4 6-ounce Salmon Fillets
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest
3 Cloves Garlic
1 Teaspoon Honey
2 Tablespoons Fresh Dill
2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley
1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a small glass bowl, whisk together the Olive Oil, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and Honey. Stir in the chopped dill and parsley until well combined
- Marinate the Salmon: Place your salmon fillets in a dish or a reusable silicone bag. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Let it sit at room temperature for about 15 to 20 minutes
- Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking
- Grill the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down first. Close the lid and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for another 3 to 4 minutes
- Check for Doneness: The salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F
- Rest and Serve: Transfer the salmon to a warm platter, let it rest for 5 minutes, and then garnish with extra herbs and lemon wedges before serving
Notes
Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel before adding the marinade for better adherence.
Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking. Salmon can dry out quickly.
