Ingredients
2 large Ripe Bananas (mashed)
1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
1/3 cup Melted Coconut Oil
1 Large Egg (room temperature)
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 cups Almond Flour or Oat Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips (sugar-free)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until mostly smooth
- Whisk in the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract until well-combined
- Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, and sea salt until just combined
- Stir in the dark chocolate chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brow
- Allow to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes before slicing
