Description

These Low-Sugar Chocolate Chip Banana Blondies are a delicious treat made with ripe bananas, natural sweeteners, and wholesome ingredients that make them a healthy snack or dessert option for the whole family.

Ingredients

Scale

2 large Ripe Bananas (mashed)
1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
1/3 cup Melted Coconut Oil
1 Large Egg (room temperature)
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 cups Almond Flour or Oat Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips (sugar-free)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until mostly smooth
  3. Whisk in the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract until well-combined
  4. Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, and sea salt until just combined
  5. Stir in the dark chocolate chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brow
  7. Allow to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes before slicing

Notes

Use room-temperature eggs to avoid lumpy batter.

Ensure your bananas are very ripe for maximum sweetness.
