Ingredients
1 pound Dry Pasta (Shells or Macaroni)
3–4 cups Fresh Broccoli Florets
3 cups Whole Milk or Unsweetened Nut Milk
2 cups Vegetable or Chicken Broth
2.5 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
Sea Salt and Black Pepper To taste
Instructions
- Sauté the Base: Heat Olive Oil in a large pot over medium heat
- Combine Liquids and Pasta: Pour in the milk and broth, then add pasta, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well
- Simmer to Perfection: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Add the Broccoli: When pasta is almost done, stir in broccoli florets and cover to cook until tender
- Melt the Cheese: Turn off the heat and stir in cheese until melted and smooth
- Season and Serve: Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm
