Description

This Spicy Bacon Stir-Fry is a quick, bold meal featuring crisp vegetables and smoky bacon. It’s perfect for busy weeknights and can be made in under twenty minutes, relying on high heat and a few quality ingredients for maximum flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

8 ounces Thick-Cut Bacon, sliced into 1-inch pieces
2 large Bell Peppers, sliced into thin strips
1 cup Snap Peas, trimmed
1 medium Red Onion, thinly sliced into wedges
3 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger, grated
1 tablespoon Avocado Oil
3 tablespoons Coconut Aminos
1 tablespoon Raw Honey
1 to 2 teaspoons Red Chili Flakes, to taste
2 stalks Green Onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Render the Bacon: In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, cook the bacon pieces until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving about one tablespoon of bacon fat in the pa
  2. Sauté the Aromatics: Add avocado oil to the pan if needed. Toss in garlic, ginger, and red chili flakes, stirring until fragrant, about 30 seconds
  3. Flash-Fry the Vegetables: Increase heat to high, add bell peppers, red onions, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes until vibrant and crisp
  4. Prepare the Sauce: Whisk together coconut aminos and honey in a small bowl
  5. Combine and Glaze: Add bacon back to the pan, pour sauce over, and toss quickly for 1 to 2 minutes until coated
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with green onions, and serve immediately

Notes

For meal prep, store leftovers in an airtight glass container for up to three days.

Reheat in a skillet with a splash of water or coconut aminos to keep it moist.
