Description

My Spicy Beef Tacos offer the perfect balance of smoky heat, juicy protein, and vibrant toppings that create a festival of flavors in every single bite. They are incredibly simple to prepare, yet feel like a gourmet treat that warms the soul and satisfies even the most adventurous eaters.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Grass-fed Ground Beef
1 tablespoon Avocado Oil
1 medium Yellow Onio
3 cloves Fresh Garlic
2 tablespoons Chili Powder
1 teaspoon Ground Cumi
1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
1/2 cup Beef Bone Broth
1 teaspoon Honey
1 tablespoon Lime Juice

Instructions

  1. Place a large cast-iron skillet or heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat. Add Avocado Oil and allow it to shimmer
  2. Add diced Yellow Onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent
  3. Increase heat slightly and add the Ground Beef. Break into small crumbles and let sit undisturbed for 2 minutes
  4. Stir and continue cooking until no pink remains
  5. Lower heat to medium and add minced Fresh Garlic. Cook for 30-60 seconds
  6. Add Chili Powder, Ground Cumin, Smoked Paprika, Cayenne Pepper, and Sea Salt onto the meat. Stir well for about 2 minutes
  7. Stir in Tomato Paste and cook for one minute. Pour in Beef Bone Broth and Honey, stirring to combine
  8. Let the mixture simmer gently for 5-7 minutes until saucy
  9. Turn off the heat and stir in Lime Juice

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Ground Beef with Ground Turkey or Chicken.

For grain-free options, use large Butter Lettuce leaves or Jicama wraps instead of tortillas.
