Ingredients
1 lb Grass-Fed Ground Beef
4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger, grated
1 tablespoon Avocado Oil
1/3 cup Coconut Aminos or Tamari
2 tablespoons Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
1–2 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes or Gochugaru
1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil
3 stalks Green Onions, sliced
1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 30 to 60 seconds until fragrant
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it into small crumbles. Let it sit undisturbed for a minute or two until browned
- Drain excess fat from the pan, then whisk together the coconut aminos, honey, red pepper flakes, and toasted sesame oil in a bowl
- Pour the sauce over the beef and stir to coat. Let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly
- Turn off the heat and stir in half of the sliced green onions. Assemble by spooning the beef mixture over rice and garnishing with remaining green onions and sesame seeds
