2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse chickpeas under cold water and drain well
- Set up a steamer basket in a pot with about an inch of water, bring to a boil
- Add chickpeas to the steamer basket and cover, steam for 5 to 8 minutes
- Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, sea salt, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a large bowl
- After steaming, transfer chickpeas to the bowl and toss to coat
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm

For a dessert-style snack, toss chickpeas in maple syrup and cinnamon instead of savory seasonings.
