Description
These Viral Hot Honey Ground Beef Bowls deliver a perfect balance of heat, sweetness, and texture with high-quality beef coated in a sticky, spicy glaze. The dish is quick to prepare, healthy, and highly customizable.
Ingredients
1 lb Grass-fed Ground Beef (85/15)
1 tbsp Avocado Oil
3 tbsp Raw Honey
2 tbsp Coconut Aminos
1–2 tsp Sriracha or Chili Flakes
3 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1 tsp Fresh Ginger, grated
1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
Green Onions & Sesame Seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Hot Honey Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the raw honey, coconut aminos, sriracha (or chili flakes), and rice vinegar until smooth
- Sear the Beef: Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, allowing it to sear for 3-4 minutes without stirring
- Add Aromatics: Break beef into smaller pieces, then add garlic and ginger, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant
- Glaze the Mixture: Pour hot honey sauce over beef, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and coats the meat
- Final Reduction: Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce tightly clings to the beef
- Assemble the Bowls: Divide base (like rice or quinoa) into bowls, top with hot honey beef
- Garnish and Serve: Top with green onions, sesame seeds, and additional sriracha if desired
Notes
For a healthier option, replace beef with ground turkey or chicken, and adjust oil as needed.
Maple syrup can replace honey for a different sweetness.
